That's adorable, lol.
If he's talkative anyway, you don't need to feel pressured to talk alot... maybe he likes your dorky smile :)
And after a while, you'll feel more comfortable opening up to him. Until then, talk about things that aren't as personal.

Many young people are shy. There is nothing wrong with being shy. You might want to try doing a few things together. There are more ways to talk than with words. Many adult schools have classes on all shorts of things (not just for adults)
Maybe do home-work together if you're both in school. Wing it.

What you need to do is tell him, you cant really open up. If he likes you, he'll understand. Most people are different with relationships. Don't worry this is just a phase, it happens with most girls at the beginning of a relationship, as it gets stronger you will be able to open up more, and after a while you wont be able to stop talking.
XD
Lol.
I hope this helped at least a little bit

first of all for a shy gal as u say u r wat kind of username is hotness!!! lol anywho dont be afraid to flirt once u let him talk to you and get to know him more, flirting will come naturally it's just a girl thing. i mean me and my best guyfriend flirt all the time and it's because im comfortable with him. but he's never found out i really like him at least i think he doesn't.just talk about the weather, his shirt, something!!! because there's always a flirty way to saw something instead of "hi how was ur day" say " so wat trouble did you get into today" or instead of how did you do on the test?" say " i saw you looking over my shoulder during the test at least that better be wat u were looking at" try it!!!

Be yourself and open up when it feels right. I know plenty of shy, quiet people with dorky smiles who end up finding that special someone they are able to feel comfortable with. If you continue to get to know him and you start to feel comfortable, you'll be able to open up. Don't force it too soon.

Don't be afraid to open up. If you are dating him and he asks you questions its just because he wants to know more about you and how your life is going. No matter how boring your life is he still wants to know, he is just showing he cares so open uo and talk to him don't worry about the topic just go with the flow.Best of Luck

Just talk to him about what's going on in your life, how your day was, what happened, etc. It doesn't need to be Shakespeare. Maybe the best thing you can do for someone who likes to talk is just listen and give useful comments.

A relationship is a 2 way thing.....its not all him talk - you listen - and its unfair!!
You are a valid person with valueable thoughts opinions and experiences - just share them with him.....and if he doesn't shut up for long enough to give you a chance - tell him!
He can't hog the limelight all the time! lol

OK, my husband is like you. I talk and he smiles. It is sweet. As you get more comfortable you will open up. If he is that great, he will wait for that to happen.
