No one else seems to be terrified of the snakes but I am. In my last dream, Ayden was in the crawling in the floor with the snakes and everytime I got off the couch, more snakes would fall from the ceiling.

snakes represent the devil and sin. This dream tells me that you need to make sure that your son is always heading in the right direction. Keep a close eye on every aspect of his life.
Make sure you communicate closely and often with him.
The snake (devil) is going to try trip him up and cause havoc in his life. It will come from many directions. If you neglect to keep a sharp eye on his life, and don't impart in him values, morals and a sense of self worth, it could get out of control.
Thats why every time you got off the couch it got worse.
maybe the snakes were in your car, because you have some, or had some, serious demons of your own in the past. Then the devil can't touch your son. Otherwise you will be terrified for your son. You were terrified because you recognized how many snakes there were and you felt helpless to save him. It's like a sixth sense. Others can't come close to seeing what we see in our children.
