Yes - The awareness ribbon for cervical cancer is TEAL-WHITE RIBBON. You can see it in weblink URL - http://www.medindia.net/ribbons/ribbons_index.asp (3rd image from the top)

The cervix is a part of the female reproductive system and forms the lower part of the womb or the uterus. Sixty years ago, cancer of the cervix was the leading cause of cancer deaths in women. However, there has been a dramatic reduction in the incidence rates due to increased awareness and effective screening programmes since the 1940’s. The success can be attributed to widespread Pap test, commonly performed to detect cervical cancer at an early stage. -

HPV (human papilloma virus) is one of the main reason for getting this cancer-

I think it would be helpful to clarify what you are talking about. Support groups are not divided by type of cancer. If the patient or their family need emotional support it is usually given with all cancer patients. Although there are several for breast cancer only it is done because it can be very difficult for a woman to lose a breast, her hair, etc in a way that is very different from a man and these are all very valid points and it should not matter if a patient chooses one that is for breast cancer patients. If you are referring to the publicity issues breast cancer gets more coverage because everyday people who either had breast cancer or someone they love had breast cancer made it that way. With a big thanks to them breast cancer and all other cancers are now discussed openly. I don’t know if you are old enough to remember, but it was not always this way. Also with a big thanks to them breast cancer is not the death sentence it once was. It has taken them 20+ years of very hard work to make it the way it is now. If you think this is sexist that is up to you. We have screening exams for 4 cancers, prostate, cervical, breast and colon gender doesn’t have a thing to do with it. If you are referring to funding that is a completely different issue and I am curious about where your logic is here. Most of the funding comes from our tax dollars and like everything else politics does come into play that cannot be avoided, but they do try to place the money where it does the most good and saves the most lives. Both breast and prostate cancers get more federal money than lung cancer. The biggest improvement we can make with lung cancer is to get people to quit smoking and since it is practically a crime to smoke now I think the government has obviously put a lot of work into this. We do know unlike most cancers early detection does not change overall survival as drastically as it does other cancers and also unlike other cancers just having lung cancer is a risk factor for getting another lung cancer in the future. We are far closer to making a break though with breast cancer and that will save lives sooner. Lung cancer is funded more than cervical cancer. Cervical cancer doesn’t even make the top 10 in terms of funding. Lung cancer is the 3rd most funded cancer by the federal government, behind breast and prostate cancers.

There isn't one that I'm aware of. Since some cervical cancer is caused by an STD (HPV), there is sometimes a stigma of "she slept around, so she deserves it!" attached to having cervical cancer. Therefore cervical cancer victims receive less sympathy than breast cancer victims, who have cancer because of genetics, chemical exposure, or unknown reasons rather than because of sexual activity.

Biased? Unfair? Perhaps. The American Cancer Society http://www.cancer.org/docroot/home/index.asp?level=0 may be able to answer your question better than I can.
