he has liked me fore like 3 years and i cant help that i dont like him in that way and he was like i need a yes or no rite now so i said no cuz i couldnt lead him on if i kinda like him but then he got really mad and our friendship is like ruined and he is like amazing and i love him as a friends sooooooo much

Aww, Well, Just tell him you think him more as a friend, Better to tell him the truth then to lead him on, that will turn out worse. If he is mad, let him cool off a little bit, but don't stop trying to contact him and let him know you still want to be friends, but whatever you do, don't try to lead him on. Soon he will realize he will want you as a friend then nothing at alll. good luckk !

You did the right thing, you were honest and did not lead him on. In a case like that, I hope you were tactful - it is rough to be put in a position of saying "yes or no", because you would rather say, "I don't feel "that" way about you, but you are amazing and I love you so much as a friend" so he wouldn't feel bad!
