do you think if the Christian's knew God's plan back before Jesus was sent to die for us, do you think they would be calling on God to send his son to die for them, so they could get into heaven?

People have been looking for a Savior from the time of Adam on down. The Lord promised Him from the beginning. The Lord was the one who set the plan of salvation in motion. All those that love and have loved Him in the past looked forward to His plan being fulfilled. We are so very blessed to have such a loving God.

There could be no Christians before Jesus because Christians are followers of Christ.

Do I know that I need Jesus' sacrificial death to be able to get into Heaven? Yes, I needed for Him to die for my sins even though I regret that He needed to.

Jesus is God in the flesh. So, it was God who came to the earth in the form of the man Jesus to give up His human life for us.

I praise God that Jesus now lives and is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Christ went to the spirits in Prison and preached salvation to all those who "had died", all the way back to the 6th day creation.

1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Followers of Christ before the Christ... Not possible. The believers in YHWH before Paul started preaching were Jews.
