okay uh I had knee arthroscopy may 1st it went well. But when I stand on it long or walk a longing distance the..... I guess the muscles gets all tensed up and my knee throbs, it'll disappear if I rest it for a while. But I am wondering when it will if it will ever fully heal and if so how long? I'm guessing long. But about how long how many months or a year?

Umm hard for me to explain this, not very good at explaining. Best to start from the beginning, well i started getting sharp painful stings in my knee, when ever I walked it had occasionally and it was so painful that I wanted to cry, but it didn’t ever last that long, about a minute to two at the most. Then when I got it examined I found out that my meniscus was causing the problem, instead on them being both the shape of C's one was a D so what they did was go in and shave the D down to make it a C. So can anyone help me out here? I'd really appreciate it. I hope that explanation is alright.

Sounds to me like you're probably not quite walking right for your knee on that leg since surgery. Since the problem seems to be in the muscles and not the joint, you'd probably benefit from some physical therapy. See your orthopedist and see what he/she thinks, but if that's it, pretty easy fix.

Good luck!

I had meniscus repair, about 9 years ago, and it went very well. I didn't even use crutches after the surgery, had it on a thursday, went grocery shopping on saturday. But I do take NSAIDS, did before and after. I seldom notice mine, but if I wasn't taking the NSAIDS, I expect it would hurt, after several days. I did take therapy, if you didn't maybe that is the problem.
