This guy who i am kinda seeing says he really likes me, but he is going to washington to see a friend, of his he has known for a long time, to see if there is anything there(romanticaly). Is it wrong of me to be upset and worried and what do i tell him! He already asked me to marry him

Sweetie, I know who you feel. If he is serious about marring you he would not be going back to see another girl. Sit down and talk to him and tell him how you feel and find out if he was being serious about the marriage thing. Sorry guys can be so confusing. Best of Luck

Wow, something really weird is going on here! You are "kinda" seeing him - which means things are not on a really solid and definite footing with you two - and he has asked you to marry him, AND YET he's traipsing off to Washington to look up a former flame, with the specific intent of seeing if the flame is still burning?!! That is very messed up! Girl, don't cry - RUN!!! This guy is very confused, and has no clue as to what he really wants. That is the kind of guy who decides to marry someone, without any real clue about a relationship, and runs off 12 years and 2 kids later with his high school sweetheart. Ugh! It sounds to be as though he has a very immature idea about what love is, or what goes into making a real relationship, like he is expecting to be struck by lightening, or something dramatic. You deserve someone who knows what he wants, and who knows he wants you - not some confused little boy who is wandering about waiting for something wonderful to land on his head. Run, while you can; do NOT waste any more time on this loser, and certainly waste no tears on his behalf. He is doing you a huge favor.

He's asked you to marry him, yet he's going to Washington to check out, a romantic feeling for another woman? Are you for real? Why did he ask you to marry him? Why is he still thinking about this other woman, while seeing you? Why haven't you talked to him yet? I don't understand you.
You have every right to get upset and to worry. He has a funny way of expressing his love for you aye?
First off, tell him what you feel. Why you feel it. And mostly talk about your doubt's. What can happen?! It would be a relief for you to tell him.

why would he ask to marry you and then decide to take a trip to washington to spark up a romantic relationship with someone else? That makes absolutely no sense.
And what do you mean by "kinda seeing"?

girl if he really liked you and was serious about marrying you that other girl would not be on his mind!!! i know you don't want to hear this but forget about him!!! you deserve someone who knows what your worth to them and you should not be waiting around for him to make a decision maybe he told that girl in Washington the same thing! go out have fun find someone else!

There is NOTHING wrong with you. He probably needs closure with the other person to see if your the right one for him. If I were in your shoes, I probably would feel the same way you do..but all you can do is wait and see what happens..but just keep an open mind and tell yourself ANYTHING can happen, and it ALL happens for a reason.
