I'm really skinny everywhere except that I have a pot belly, big enough that it sticks out over my jeans and you can see through my shirt. I've been doing about 60 crunches a day and I'm very active and eat right but I still can't seem to lose it. Is this genetic?

i really want to lose it because my friends are always poking me in the tummy and kind of making fun of me/ joking around, but it gets annoying. My sister doesn't have one, its just me? I'm 12 years old.

It may be genetic, some people will never have flat stomachs sadly
However, crunches only create muscle UNDER fat, so that won't help very much
What I recommend is taking a kickboxing class or just taking a chair and kicking over the seat of it, because this tones the core rather than strengthening it

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

sounds like you are suffering from malnutrition. Eat the healthy foods and the proper amount of food. If you are eating right, cardiovascular exercise will flatten your stomach a lot faster than crunches. 30 min a day

fat gathers in distinctive aspects for various human beings. Lifting weights and working are solid techniques to burn fat yet benefit muscle. bounce roping is likewise solid, and somewhat greater exciting ;) Your physique would not burn fat until eventually after 30 minutes of cardio, so the leaping and working will help with that. solid luck!

if you're only 12, you probably just have a little bit of baby fat left. You're just starting puberty, and you're probably going to get a little taller, so just wait, your body should balance itself out in time.
