Oh dear, no- Just make sure your pinkie finger is up properly while sipping on that tea, and for Heaven's sake, have a nice napkin in your lap, to avoid crumpets from the coffee cake to land on you. You should be perfectly fine with this.

Naaa I don't think so I let my kids drink hot cocoa with it or even milk. Whatever suits your fancy is just fine. My friend used to make a GREAT rum cake and we ate it for breakfast so I guess you can do whatever you want at our age! What is that saying? Uhm? Let them eat cake? It does not say when or where or even what we have to drink with it; coffee cake is just a term for a breakfast cake. Right??? Heck I don't know but it sounds good to me!
