financial problems is the number one leading cause of divorces... its sad bu true. its stressful. and i bet they arent moving out because neither of them can afford to live on their own

Divorce is legal and bankruptcy is legal.
Now, if you were to say something like:
"i know this couple that got a divorce because they were in finacial debt , and then they robbed a bank." This is not legal.

I don't think so. They're not stealing money from the government. So technically They are two people that filed bankruptcy living together, oh and they used to happen to be married

well, that depends on the reason for divorce. If they were divorced to somehow cheat the system, or to evade certain taxes. then yes I could say that it was an illegal action.

You might not know the whole story..it was either b/c one of them is filing the bankruptcy or b/c of tax reasons...

You can get divorced for any reason you want. Unlike getting married. ie you cant get married just for a green card.
