If you do, then this question isn't for you. If you don't, how do you explain Genisis 19:30-38?

30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave. 31 One day the older daughter said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is no man around here to lie with us, as is the custom all over the earth. 32 Let's get our father to drink wine and then lie with him and preserve our family line through our father." 33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and lay with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up. 34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger, "Last night I lay with my father. Let's get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and lie with him so we can preserve our family line through our father." 35 So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went and lay with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.

36 So both of Lot's daughters became pregnant by their father. 37 The older daughter had a son, and she named him Moab [1] ; he is the father of the Moabites of today. 38 The younger daughter also had a son, and she named him Ben-Ammi [2] ; he is the father of the Ammonites of today.

He is so drunk he do not even know his daughters has lay with him. Yet, he can get erected and ejaculate. That should be pretty interesting.

Well for one thing Lot isn't the perfect example of obedience to God. He chose to live in a sinful city, and even became an important figure in that city. He offered his daughters to the men of the town, to do whatever they wanted to with them. Just because someone in the Bible does something, doesn't mean that God endorsed it.
The other thing, if you think about Adam and Eve, Cain must have married his sister. Now, Since Adam and Eve were perfect until they sinned, and were still without genetic diseases and mutations, they had none to pass on. Environmental factors do damage the genes, and as the gene pool became degraded more and more after the fall of man, it became less advisable to marry a close relative. Eventually God gave Moses the laws against incest. Before then, marriage between brothers and sisters was common, but even before then, it would have been taboo to marry (or have sex with) ones own parent or child.
In short, Lots daughters sinned, and that is why they had to get their father drunk, he wouldn't have gone through with it if he'd had his wits about him.

Not with my relatives! EWWWW!
We today have serious damage in our genetic structure. It has been going down a small amount with each generation. Some say it is still OK among some level of cousins, though not recommended.
The closer we are to the original pair of Adam & Eve, the better the genes are. Back in Bible times, it was allowed and with the first few children of Adam & Eve, was a necessity for procreation. The potential for all the races were contained in all the first humans. Now only very rarely does one set of parents give birth to a child of a different race, but it does happen.

The Children of Israel so totally pwned the Moabites and Ammonites. God had the last laugh, though he waited until the middle of Exodus to tell the Hebrews that incest was NOT best.

Well, I explain the quote below by saying yes it is incest. No I don't support it. Yes, the bible is showing a clear example of incest. The bible is not promoting incest, I make that statement by saying that God called for the unmitigated destruction of the product of this incest later on. Granted, this opens up another issue about the love of God--which I will conceed.

I'm at a loss over your question. Do you think that incest occurs today? I pretty much know it does. We see it and hear about it in the news constantly!
What's that got to do with it happening over 2000 years ago? God knows what goes on and He wrote it down.
What's your point?

If you read the verse, it says that the two childrens became the ancestors of two of God's enemies: the Moabites and the Ammonites, who he destroyed multiple times. If incest was ok, Lot's children would have been Israelites, and therefore blessed of God.

Once again an instance where scripture is being taken out of context.
This was not written to condone incest and most people know that.

Are you really THAT dense that you can't figure out that the story is intended to teach people that incest is not morally acceptable?
