The term "concentration camp" has negative connotations to it, which makes them badder than they may seem... although concentration camps are awful things anyway. It's because the Nazis ran some, and people assume all concentration camps were places where people were starved, overworked and murdered.
---
The first concentration camps on US soil were in 1838, when President Van Buren ordered the Army to round up Cherokee people into prison camps.
During World War 2, numerous Japanese, German and Italian Americans were chosen for and sent to concentration camps to be interned.
There are currently concentration camps on US soil, but they're still under construction and obviously not home to anyone just. The idea is that they're to be used in emergencies should the situation arise - which I suppose is better than having to construct camps of poor quality at the last minute.
Yes, the US has had concentration camps in the past, although they weren't death camps. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either poorly informed or needs to check a dictionary.

You know i have been to locations that i have been told are "concentration camps". Nothing there. These theories have been around since the early 80s. They supposedly ID rail cars that were fitted for moving people around. I saw the pics, they were special rail cars used by the Air Force to transport missile components from the factory to the silos.

My unicorn says you are a liar. Sasquatch is in the shower right now, but I can ask him when he's done.
I'm sorry, can you prove this with an actual link to a reliable source? You honestly don't believe everything you see on Youtube? What is today's youth becoming?

I would be kinda careful with that term.
It's technically correct but I'd rather use
the term detention camps. Concentration
camps is heavily connected to "death
camps" in Germany during WW2.

No... and just exactly where are these alleged "concentration camps" located? I suppose that they were built by Haliburton and staffed by Blackwater?
