i told him i liked her, and he just started talking to her and now hes hitting on her. hes the "player" type thats always chasing sex, and olny wants to "get some" of this girl. but i just want her as a girlfriend and a long lasting realtionship and take things slow. but cause hes the player type he knows what to do and what to say.im just shy and hes telling her lies about me so she wont like me, and i think she belives them too!!so now what do i do? and about her? about my stupid friend? Well if she's smart she'll see right through your friend. Don't let your friend see that it bothers you, let him think your just riding the wave sitting on the side lines.
Find time to actually talk to her, let her notice you. If you don't show yourself to the girl you like you'll always be on the side lines while someone else gets your girl. If you like her and a guy like you deserves a good girl, then you should take your time, talk to her and let her meet the real you.
Don't jump her and want to date her, be her friend, be nice and always just pop up when she needs it. if you exist in her day you'll be able to be there when others aren't. It may take a little time but it's worth it.
if she dates a guy like that, perhaps she's not the girl for you, but I don't know her, you do. And dude, you have the brother on your side, you're already 5 steps ahead!
And, a major pointer, is your friend is lousy, cut him loose haha. Replace him with her ;)

Ok I know this may sound scary for you to do but TRUST ME! I'm a girl! I know!
You need to talk to her. Get her alone and tell her that he might just be after sex and that you want a real relationship. Tell her what he was been telling her isn't true and that those lies arent the real you. Then tell her you want her to get to know the real you and ask her to hang out sometime.
TRUST ME! Any girl would love to hear a guy say that.
Be sweet though.. dont curse or be rude about your friend...

Maybe you should tell her some B/S on HIM. Seriously, wait it out and let your heart guide you. Be wise. I am a girl and have been there, and know what you are talking about. It's possible she realizes what is going on.... if she's popular with boys. My mom even told me about her having the same experience when she was young b/f she married my dad. So, my understanding is that some guys do this a lot.

Let us start with your so-called friend. I suspect this is not the first time he has acted this way towards you, but this is the first time he has gone after a girl that you truly like and want to be with.So he has decided that he does not want to be your friend and you need to cut him loose---now.As to the gal that you like, unfortunately, you can not decide for her what to believe or not believe, whom to love or not love, and whom to date or not date.You did not say how long you have known her or how close you guys are so it is difficult to tell if she would tend to trust you more.Trust is the key here and it will help or hurt you with her.If you think she would trust you and your motives, then go to her and tell her about not only your feelings but about your "player" friend and what he would do to her.However, if you think she would suspect you of jealousy, not believe you,and even make her decide to go with your friend, then say nothing about your feelings for her ; only ask her to be careful about him, prove that what he is telling her is a lie(especially about you), that all he wants is to sleep with her . If you have any facts and examples that you can show her to prove that you are telling the truth, then put them on the table for her to see .You will , with time. win her over to your side because you will demonstrate that you truly love her and care for her happiness. your friend is jealous of you and wants to have what you have,be carefull with friends like him.he's insecure and won't stop at nothing to hurt you or anyone else. If you really like her than go for it! Don't lose this chance because of him.Tell the the truth and let her know what your friend is up too. you don't need a friend like him.

well first confront your friend and tell him what is going on and try to get some other of your friends to get him away from her while you talk to her and set things straight or get one of your friends who is also friends with her and someone that she trusts to tell her that. Get your friends to trash that "playa" type kid (if you wanna play dirty) or just let it go entirely and find someone else
