An old flame is trying hard to get back into my life after 5 months of deception and a lil emotional/mental abuse (yeah all in 5 months) I stopped all contact. He saw me around after 8 months of no contact and he is texting me non stop. I refuse to respond, he wants an explanation as to why I stopped the "relationship”. Do I owe him an explanation?

Who does he think he is, God's gift to women? He is trying to play you. If you respond to any of his messages, you are playing right into his hands. He thinks he has control of you, even after you have not heard from him in eight months. The guy sonunds like he is from another planet or something. He has an ego problem to the MAX, he thinks he's "ALL THAT" it's up to you to prove to him that he's NOT all that. You are doing the right thing by not responding to him. (Am I pretty good at this, even though I'm a 50 year old man?) lol.....lol

God Bless You and always be good to yourself.

You owe him no explanation and did what you had to do. Block this creep and if you really want him to know what's going on, issue a final email explaining that he is definitely not what want in your life and why.

Not that this will in any way sink in or make him a better person. He's on a self-centered and obsessive path to self-destruction and you don't want to go there with him.

You owe him nothing. However you might text him to stop harassing you. Harassment or stalking is illegal and in most countries there are specific laws about use of the telephone system for it. You could mention this in your text message - and if he continues report it to police. Good luck.

No, you don't owe him anything. But it may be in your best interest to tell him. I would preface my explanation to state that this is not to solicit an explanation or apology from him, but to put an end to his pestering.

Absolutely Not! Block him if you can because you Don't want contact again! Ignore him if you can't block him. Maybe he will get the message eventually.

Maybe don't dive into the details.
Tell him you don't like the way he rolls or whatever, but if he asks why not, don't answer him.
