I just want to know what kind of coffee pot will get and stay very hot, and of course work in all other ways that it should, but the hotness being the most important. Thanks for your help!!!

I guess what I mean is one that gets it hot from the beginning, as it is normally drank right away.

Or a large style pot, that makes 3 gallon of coffee at opnce, like what you saw in restaurants 5-10 years ago.
everything that is made now is crap.

Any Bunn coffee maker is good and will stay hot really long!
They're a lil expensive but they brew a pot of coffee in about 3 minutes and stay on till you turn them off!Most restaurants use them but in the industrial size! bunn.com

You could but a manual drip pot, boil the water, let it drip then transfer to a carafe. Once the coffee is brewed it gets nasty if it's exposed to much heat for too long.
