I love writing down my prayers and then entering in how God has answered those prayers. It is really a blessing.

Do you have a prayer journal?

I find that how those prayers get answered are rather facinating, sometimes not at all how I thought it would be done!

It really ties into what someone wrote here about being grateful too...I am very grateful when prayer is answered. It really tickles me to see it. Makes me grateful.

Yes, I surely do, my little Friend. I have kept a Prayer journal For Over 30 Years. ( IN THE BACK OF MY BIBLE.) And I Review It from time to time to Thank God for "ALL" those answered Prayers. He is a Good God, And He cares for us Unconditionally! He Gives us the Desires Of Our hearts, Or what ever - ever we ask For, "If we believe we will receive."! What - ever would we do with-out HIM? "WE PRAISE YOU JESUS"! > "Thank You Father, for answered Prayers." (Oh, I do still carry that same Bible) (smile)

Not exactly. I do have a gratefulness journal, though. Twice a week, I list everything (and I mean everything) that I'm grateful for, and take stock in what's good in my life. It minimizes the complaining and whining and "woe is mee" that so many people get locked into.

When I went to The First Assembly of God with my friend, we had an all girls church group in the afternoon, were we kept these really pretty purple and white journals.
We use to keep our lessons and prayers in it, along with what we learned each class.
It was so much fun *smiles*

And sometimes, I am grateful for the unanswered prayer. Thank God that He knows what is better for us than we do ourselves.

Good question.

Kept track of some love gifts to TV ministries and found that one of the ministries, for me, had a high value answer rate (like 80%). That's my favorite ministry today.

I have not even gotten around to starting it yet!
I met a presbyterian woman recently whose late mother kept a journal, and I feel the inspiration to do so myself.

No, but I have planned to start. Our senior pastor suggested that, and I thought it is a great idea. Thank you for the reminder.
