Is the rapper for stride gum eatable?

I heard that u can go ahead and eat the rapper with the gum and it dissolves in your mouth? Is this true?

Yeah, go ahead and try it. It's yummy. Eat the wrapper though not a rapper.

It's just paper, you can eat it.

Note, it's edible, not eatable.
