I recently did a painting at my art school and some body stole it. Now i dont have any evidence or proof but i am 100 freaking percent sure he did it. How can i talk to him? Or am i completely hopeless in getting that painting back.

im sure because after i finished my painting, i let my teacher display it on the back wall of our class. Throughout the time it was on the wall, one particular person always stops by to look at it. In addition, he is always at the school during late hours around 5 to 8 Pm which is closing time. Everyday, he brings back and forth a huge portfolio bin to carry his supplies which could easily have fit my painting in. Also, my teacher suspects it is him because he was caught previously stealing art supplies and even drawings. The night it was stole, one girl witness him to have touching my picture and even took it off. The thief saw her and put it back on. The thief btw is an art student. Anyways, the girl left around 7 30Pm so it was just him and the teacher. The room has 8 sections so obviously he could not see the thief directly but with this knowledge, im pretty positive it was him

I've had my beautiful art work stolen from me and it hurts, really hurts...Every time I think about it, I get so angry. Honestly, I don't think there is much you can do at all, from now on be very protective of your possessions and consider it a lesson learned. I'm very sorry for you and I hope it never happens again.....

you don't have proof but you can play games! lol
but i'm sure it's not ethical!
i would start saying how you used lead paint or you use someone's bodily fluids to make it! now someone is holding a sperm bank for whom ever took it!

if you just come out and ask they may so no!

something else you could do is send out an e-mail to everyone that you can stating who ever took the painting your on camra .. I can get access to it but they will want to know why. there for this is your last call to return the painting back where it was so no one will find out! and legal action will not be placed!

good luck it's hard to reterive what was stolen

Does he live on campus? Perhaps campus security can assist you. Or if you know someone, who knows him, perhaps they can find out for you. It's shameful that an art student, would do that.

Don't confront. Instead, report the theft to campus security and the police.
