I've gotten lots of film developed as well as developing lots of film. Normally the photo place, depending on the developer, will give you a disk along with your prints. There should be a option to choose when turning the film in to get it developed. I know some places charge and other do it as a courtisy. Just ask the developer if available when you take the film in.

You other option may be to buy a digital camera and do it yourself. It may be pricey depending on the megapixil of the camera but in the end it will be worth while, and you can buy the disks at the store, they are pretty cheap. You can send them off in cards instead of sending the photos themself.

Not all photo shops can do this, and it is definitely an extra charge thing for those that do: disposable cameras are film-type, and to put the image on a disc requires a film reader.

We bought a Walgreens brand disposable camera, and it came with free film for the life of the camera, if you return it to Walgreens to be processed. They put the film in for you. They charged us $3 to put the pictures on disc.

When you take the disposable to the processor, just tell them what format you'd like. There is no reason why they can't give you prints AND a CD.

At Boots you can ask for the CD as an added extra.

Its a good idea to have the negs and a CD.
