Not that I know of, you should be in counseling weekly if that is going on in your life on a regular basis.

All crisis hotlines are free. Check your phone book under mental health in the yellow pages.

In the other answer about crisis lines, yes all crisis lines are free. But allow me to differntiate between a crisis line and counseling. Having over 20 years experience, I often find people are confused and disappointed when calling a crisis line. This is really just a misunderstanding of what crisis lines are.

Crisis lines are meant for individuals in immediate crisis. Either they are having thoughts of suicide or are thinking about hurting someone else. People on crisis lines are often not trained as therapists. Instead they are trained to assess how suicidal you are or if someone else is in danger from you. If they determine this, they have a massive list of hospitals etc., where they can refer you.

It's rare to find free counseling, but my site: www.CounselingPros.com offers counseling based on ability to pay. I usually have two full time graduate level students who offer this counseling under direct supervision by me.

Depending on how chronic or serious your problem is, my other associates (expert therapists) also have my permission to slide our scale down from $85 per session to a place they are comfortable with.

We rarely turn anyone away for counseling, unless we're simply swamped and all counselors are full. This is my way of reaching out to the world and helping where it hurts.

Based on what you're suffering from, you could really benefit from one of my therapists who are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, also known as CBT. All my clinicians have this training.

With a lot of elbow grease/hard work on your part, alongside a good therapist guide, you can feel tremendously better within about 6 sessions.

I hope this is helpful for you.
