No. I do not give anyone power over me, such that anger results.

Disconnect the buttons and they won't be able to push them.

Dewd.

This question was, like, MADE for me..

I'm usually on the other end of it -- I'm the one with the high standards. Usually. it bothers me when someone has potential to do better than they do, but they don't bother to try.

For instance, if I'm assigned work; for instance, say I'm supposed to be a part of a research team, I expect EVERYONE to pull their share. After all, if they don't, I'd end up doing everything, and it's possible I wouldn't be able to complete it. Then, the GROUP would be penalized, simply because someone was slacking.

That's not fair to me.

Or in some cases, it's simply so EASY to do things right, and I hate that people don't care enough about the world around them, to actually do the right thing.

Bravo for Per Fec Tion. You don't give us enough info to know what your actual concern is. What is perfection? My x-wife's idea of perfection in having a clean house was that there weren't more than 6 large pieces of vegetables on the kitchen floor.

When she cooked, many things that missed the pot landed on the floor. Since I didn't think it was my role to follow her around and pick up after her, they stayed on the floor for several days.

If I confronted her on it and asked her to pick up after herself, she would say that I was a "perfectionist" and that she didn't haven't do things in a perfectionist way.

Now cleanliness exists on a continuum. My wife thought that I was a perfectionist about some things. Someone higher on the continuum might think that I was a slob.

No one is perfect. No religion can say they are perfect. To expect anyone to live to their religion's standard 100% is not realisttic, and against nature. Be yourself. Be kind to yourself and others are the best policy for all human beings.

Depends on what their standards of perfection is.. King Solomon wrote that a wise man will listen to godly counsel but a fool will reject it. As for me, I love wisdom and I love perfection and if as you say that those who have stardards of perfection make you angry, you must stay mad at me alot.

Well I don't live up to others expectations I live up to my own expectations and I am fairly happy with my choices in life, What other people think of me is really irrelevant and what they expect of me is what I should expect of myself so nobody is disappointed....

My father calls me a hypocrite when he wants to control me, he tries to make me his puppet, by calling me that, but sorry people, being a Christan doesn't mean you have to be a rug for people to clean their feet on, just look at the life of king David, and God called him his friend.

No. Infact, Im one of the people pushing people to uh ''be better'' because I know they have it in them so why not show it? I only expect people do to whats best for themselves as well as the people they are close to. If they dont know whats best, I try to show them the way.

Yes, Im a know it all but Im still learning....
