None what so ever. They have to be removed and tested. In cases of breast cancer dye is injected into the nipple area so it will be drained by the lymph nodes - thus coloring the first (sentinel node) few in the defense line. Those are removed and sent for testing. If cancer is present, then the rest of them are removed. Lymph nodes swell and get hard when ever they are working to remove infection - so this is not a sign of cancer.

no way of knowing without going in and checking them out sugically. i hope you aren't dealing with this yourself.

The lymphnodes would be swollen and hard.
