no, if both parents are recessive then all of their children should have blue eyes
although brown eyed offspring are possible it is rare. since this is a 7th grade homework assignment, I highly doubt they are taking into account genetic cross-over...so no...no brown eyed babies

The least it would take is the two father and mom having Bb (dominant/recessive) genes. which would be carried on for many generations. even if with 2 brown eyed father and mom, the main suitable odds (assuming the two father and mom carry the recessive gene) are a million/4 that the little you will have blue eyes. a million/4 will carry BB genes and a million/2 will carry the Bb genes. So, 0.5 the human beings available with brown eyes have the potential for having blue eyed toddlers.

No, but two brown eyes can have a blue eyed kid.
A dominant gene cannot be produced from 2 recessive genes. But a recessive gene may be pronounced if 2 dominant gene carriers have recessive genes as well.

Because blue eyes are recessive, any blue-eyed person has two recessive alleles. The offspring of two blue-eyed parents should all have blue eyes because they get one blue allele from each parent.

as far as i can remember no! parents must have both recessive genes and therefore all their offspring will have two recessive genes as well....ergo..blue eyes...not brown
except in cases of gene mutation...i don't know if they cover this in 7th grade
