I may not spend 2 hours at the grocery store, but I will occasionally catch myself reading a can of beans for too long.
It takes me a very long time to pick out a birthday (or other occasion) card. I shake my head at someone who gets my carpet wet with snow on their shoes. Stupid things like that.

i swore that i would never call my daughters "young ladies" i have managed to call all 4 of them just that

In Indian culture, we have very high respect for our parents. We always try not to repeat such mistakes for which our mom has shown her displeasure.We take it that whatever she tells us, it is entirely for our own sake.We respect her knowledge and experiences.
