atheists and christians: be honest. how many times have you had your account suspended?

i've found that it's pretty much fair play here as far as questions that are asked. every time i ready a question which might be insulting to atheists, i usually can find one that's insulting to believers. and so it's fair. if we say something insulting about you, you're within your rights to say something back. what i'm not convinced is fair is the account suspension process. i'm curious to know how many here have had their account suspended and how many accounts have you had suspended as well. also list if you're religious or non-religious.

I am free of suspensions so far, but JWs are after me. They cannot take my questions, I am mainly reported for not question or not answer type of thing. Someone can be so intelligent that they do not see 'Agree or disagree' or True or false' type of questions as question.

My questions might sound hateful and insulting, but if an organization claims to be the only one and true channel of communication between people and God, they ought to be able to answer to my questions. They claim to be the true religion, and none of them are sure if they are saved because they do not accept Jesus' message. They have their own.

I do not report often, but if it is clear violation, I will. I am not sure if that does any good, because people open several accounts and they come with those low pint and level accounts to tell me "Why do you slander me?" and " Satan has got you" and they must be pissed because they cannot send me to hell ; )...because they do not believe in one. And I have to say that if they are right indeed, I rather stay in the grave than be with them doing all the clean up operation is needed after the Armageddon!!!!

I am a Christian and I get a lot of vio. notices from Muslims AND atheists even tho I have never insulted anyone personally.
I have had a Level 5 Account suspended over a hypothetical question, "What is the worst thing you ever thought about doing,but didn't?" I gave my answer and it was suspended for "threatening violence"!! Remember it's a hypothetical question.
Now it just takes 2 reports to get a vio. notice. It is truly unfair because 1 person can have 2 accounts.

I've never had my account suspended but violating the community guidelines is violating the guidelines regardless as to who you are insulting. The best way not to get suspended is to not ask insulting questions to begin with. If you are going to, I bet you could find a way to reword the question in such a way as it shows that you have a genuine interest in finding out information other than it being a big insult. Many times people just don't look at the questions they ask and think of the other person.

Well atheists and Christians are not the only ones here at R & S so lets not limit to the "majority" here anyways. And I am neither and part of no religion and I have had none of my accounts suspended but I have had plenty of violation notices for a reason I cannot come up with, as of yet..

*thinks* um, well THIS account has been suspended once.
But, this is a Level 1. I had opened this one up because my Level 6 account had been suspended. Due to the trolling of some scatterbrained twits, y!a gave me both accounts back, but sadly, my Level 6 account got suspended a SECOND time within one week after they gave it back to me!!
I haven't a use for two accounts really, but i am using this one because my Level 6 has been suspended again. I want it back. I worked so hard to get to that Level, by picking Q&A that i found interesting or funny to answer; i didnt simply answer for the 2 points. AND i had a TON of B.A's on that account, as well as, when there were TC Badges in P&S, i had one. SO needless to say, i am bummed out.
Answering Q's in R&S is what got it suspended the 1st time. I am not certain as to why it got suspended again. But i am appealing. Sadly, it has taken longer this time for y!a to get back to me. I hope they restore my account again as a Christmas present to me, as i worked darn hard to get to L6.

Point is, walking into R&S is like suicide for your account, especially if you have your own mind and opinion. (regardless of your religion!!) I very rarely report a question or answer. If i don't like it, i move on. Sadly not everyone is like that. :(

I'm an atheist, but I started on Yahoo! Answers almost two years ago when I was still calling myself a witch. I have never been suspended, and rarely have a question or answer deleted.

Once. My previous account was suspended and to be honest I deserved it.

By the way, I never caused anyone's account to be suspended, because I don't believe in the reporting policy.

Some people find many of my answers and questions to be quite offensive, but I have never had my account suspended.
