My husband is very picky about his coffee being super hot. I have bought him 3 different coffee pots and none of them get the water hot enough for him. At this point I don't even care what the cost is, since I've already bought more than I'd like to. I just want to know what kind of coffee pot will get and stay very hot, and of course work in all other ways that it should, but the hotness being the most important. Thanks for your help!!!

I suggest the brand name Bunn. Restaurants use this brand, it makes a pot of coffee in about 2 minutes and it is HOT. A little pricey, but worth the price as I too like my coffee very hot...The Bunn coffee pot has a separate reservoir in it (like an extra tank) that keep water hot, then when you pour your cold water in the really got water that is stored in there brews the coffee and the cold water you just poured in it goes to the reservoir to heat up for the next pot... It is AWESOME

I have gone back to the way it was....I bought a 12 cup coffee perculator and the coffee stays super hot, and the coffee tastes so much better.. Just a thought for you to look into. :)

Those new Senseo pod coffee makers, make you a new cup in 20 seconds, then you wont have to worry about coffee sitting around. Just Google "Senseo"

Or you could find your self a less picky husband ; )

The silver and black Kitchenaid model is pretty awesome. It allows you to chooses the Carafe heat setting, and stays pretty darn hot.
