I brought a Apple Mac Pro about 2 weeks ago and payed almost 2000$ the seller sent me an empty box. When i tried to file a claim with paypal the seller provided a tracking number. what should i do??? will i get my money back?

shipping is based on size, weight and distance. You should be able to look up the weight you were charged. Compare vs the apple or bestbuy web site and see if they're in the ballpark. An empty or newspaper filled box should weigh less than the real thing.
contact paypal and ebay and get them to look into it. you can also go to the bank that your paypal account is linked to and tell them it was an fraudulent charge, but you will be in violation of your paypal agreement.

Just out of curiosity was the seller located in Long Island, NY? The reason I ask is that someone from here just got arrested for selling empty boxes (supposed to be a computer). He is going to go to jail for a long time. If it is from NY, and it is this guy, maybe you can sue him personally. Keep all your info about the entire transaction including any and all emails from this jerk. Good luck.

What was the seller rating on eBay ? Did you check it before you paid ? I'd venture you've been scammed, and badly.
When working with that amount of money, it's best to either do a COD, or have the payment handled by an independent intermediary, such as an escrow holder.

You need to take your invoice, your paypal transaction details page, and print off the Resolution Center info. Make an appointment with your local police department to report this crime (fraud). eBay/Paypal work closely with law eforcement, Give them this link: http://pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/law_enforcement.html Have your cops tell'em "Uncle Joe Adamson" referred you. =)

Contact your bank. Paypal is really tough because they have all kinds of loopholes legally.
