Today their are a great number of people that don't believe that there is a god or that the bible is a sham. That's fine because we live in America, and I am not saying that anyone should or should not believe in god or the bible. I'm just wondering what people's reactions would be if the (particularly non-believers) if the apocolypes really occured.
Side note* Even though I said clearly that I'm not saying whether people should or should not believe in god (although i personally do), it will be interesting to see how many people (partisularly non-believers) leave smart remarks. They are always so tense when the subject of the bible is even mentioned. Atheists, RELAX!!!

They'd probably feel about as nervous as a Christian who had done all he could to help bring "Armageddon" about only to find that, after it was all over, everyone who hadn't been killed was still around, Jesus STILL hadn't shown up, and all the non-believers were looking at him with a kind of unfriendly look.

This is basically an empty question...the stuff of books and movies...what if...what if...what if...

The fact is, many times people have come to believe that the end of the world is nigh and a panic usually begins. At the turn of the 19th/20th century many people believed that the end was to come and many people went into mass hysteria. The radio program of the War of the Worlds, by Orson Well, triggered a similar panic. The "Y2K bug" cause many to believe that the end was right around the corner...

In every instance, however, they were all wrong. Its fun to think about "what if" but in the end it's a pointless exercise. Many Christians tend to worry more about the "what ifs" than they do about real life...which is why I believe that the world has so many problems today!

Why believe in your god? What make your god the right god? I don't believe in a god because there are too many god's as it is, and everyone thinks that theirs is the right god. No one has the proof to back it up.

I would welcome it, and prepare for the great battle of God Almighty on the field of Armageddon. I believe if this occured in our day it would involve the Crescent and the Cross and that the former would be cast down forever.

I must say that this is reason I don't like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. It's their kind of leadership that has brought us up to the precipice. Hope you enjoy it.

This question gets asked about once a week, it appears to me.
The idea didn't shake me up the first time I saw it, and it doesn't bother me now.

People would be as scared as anything that evolved from monkeys, even though there are still monkeys, would be.
