Have you had a Americorp Vista position and had another part time job?

I have a friend who was offered a Americorp's Vista position but it only gives a stipend of $800 per month. In the contract it states you can't have another job... Has any one out there held another job while doing Americorps Vista? If so, did they do anything if you held another position. Thanks for any feedback!

An employment in another company is a violation of the contract can be a ground for termination from Americorp.

They are at least making more than we were a few years back. Most got stipends of $121.00 every two weeks. Most of mine went back to the needy kids I was working with and had no time left for family, or College let alone another job...
