I would say you are suffering from what is called plantar faschia. It is a type of heel spur that occurs when you start to do something that you may not be used to doing, or doing too much too quickly. One thing that will help you is to lay on your back, take a towel hold each side of the towel with both hands, put it around your toes and pull to stretch your tendons out. this will give you some relief. usually the pain is worse in the morning because after sleep your tendons tend to not be stretched out at all. Hope this helps.

Make sure you're stretching enough - especially before you run. Stretch calves - foot back, lean toward wall; and toes - stretch all of them back. It's the toe stretch that usually alleviates the heal pain.
