Start calling the largest insurance companies...

but *how* do you have this policy number? How are *YOU* related to this policy? No one is going to talk to you if you don't have those answers.

There's a random chance, but it might not work.

It won't do you any good, anyway. They have no obligation to take a claim report from anyone except their policyholder.
