why can a guy move on so quickly but girls are stuck miserable and in pain from the break up?

to be honest with you most of us are worst than girls when come to breaking-up with girls,yes we look tough and all but deep inside we are hurting so much too,especially when we care more of that relationship,we just know how to fake it and pretend thats things are okay,some of the guys that i know who went into a very nasty break-up took them at least 1 yr to get it over with,and they have to seek phsychiatric help cause for them its too much and too soon,so dont believe in what you see,there is always the soft inner side of us that we just know how to hide

To recover from a broken heart you just need to give it time and everything else will follow through. I've been there before, it will be a year for me on Feb. 18, 2007. Sometimes I still feel the pain because I see things that remind me of the person but sometimes you just got to LET IT GO and MOVE ON. But that is easier said than done trust me I know.
All I can say is if you need someone to talk to you can always call on a good friend to listen to you OR if you prefer you can contact me... I can IM and send emails
Just know that this will take time and it is okay to cry about the problem... Heck I catch myself crying about it and it has been almost a year now so it is definitely okay honey

Most guys try to act all tough but deep down inside it kinda hurts them too. Of course guys don't want to look all weak and lame by moping over a girl right? The best way for guys and girls to move on or not think about the break up that much is to keep yourself busy.

There's a lot of reasons. Sometimes the guy is feeling just as miserable, but he needs someone else to take his mind off of it. And plus, he doesn't want to show he's hurt by it. As for girls, we were made to be more emotional than guys. I'm sure you already knew this.

the best thing is to give yourself the time to heal and the emotional scars will soon heal and will not leave a mark unless we let it fester to make it worse. He moved on quickly because either he really did not care for you as much as you think or running away from his problems that he feel he can escape by moving on so quickly.

I am a guy, and that isn't true. If he moved on quick he must have not cared for you as much as you did him. I have been in both situations. If my wife left me now (we broke up twice in a span of 8 years before we got married) I would be heart broken.

guys just act like they dont care.
HOW TO GET OVER IT!
1. a cute dress, you best friends, a nite out!
2. a tube of ice cream, your best friends , a funny movie
3. a spa day , your best firends
4. a day of sports (paint ball) , and your best friends
5 . and if all else fails a theripist

girls are more sensitive,
but i'm pretty sure not all guys move on that
quick after a break-up. they may seem
that they've moved on, but they could probably
be hiding their pain by acting.
(i know cheesy, but it could be true)

Boys are better in concentrating on what's best for them and they suffer les from self pity than girls. I don'tmean this in a nasty way, that girls are selfish or somethingbut they are better at taking care of others and taking care of themselves.
