I was given a 10-lap driving school from Team Texas Racing as a Christmas present from my very cool boss. Anyone out there done somthing similar (i.e. Jeff Gordon driving school, Richard Petty Driving Experience, etc)???? Any tips, suggestions, what you liked/disliked, etc would be greatly appreciated!!! Btw, I'm SUPER EXCITED about this!!!!

To clarify: I said I was super excited because I love NASCAR and one of my dreams was to get the chance to learn how to drive a race car. I never thought I would get the chance to do so. My boss made one of my wildest dreams come true. Thats why I said I was super excited!

Haven't ever got the chance to do the experience thang !! I live close to A.M.S, and have managed to get on it,with my own car !!! That was pretty cool !! On the ''Old configuration'' of course !! lol.

SUGGESTION'S; Don't be intimidated !!! If my old 64 Falcon
stayed glued... I know the car ''You'll be in'' will be cool !!

ENJOY!!!! that was real nice of your boss to give you that...they will put you through a class of about 3 hours BEFORE they let you get behind the weel of a the car and you go out in groups some passing some leading some from behind some inside some right up against the wall..it is a rush!

I did the 6 lap Racing Experiance at Talladega,I averaged around 175 for my 6 laps.

I did this about 5 yrs ago, they put you through a class first, its great, my friends gave it to me as a birthday present, I had a blast, I was the only girl with 6 other guys.. I was proud of myself, I did the one out here in Calif....Hey have a great time, you are going to have the time of your life...
