I don't need help making up my mind, I already know I'm not going back to him. I just want to hear some opinions about his approach. Is this normal for a hypnotherapist to diagnose without evidence? Thanks for being a jerk.

He said he has a strong indication of what's going on and where my fear is rooted. I know that his strong indication is that he thinks I was sexually abused by someone, simply because I told him that I was afraid of this person as a child. And there are multiple reasons for me not going back to him - some examples - he told me repeatedly about: all the beautiful women he has dated, how manly and athletic he is, and what a good person he is. Seemed odd behavior for a therapist.
