So I just got out of a relationship and just moved
to nyc, the other day I ran into an ex-boyfriend on
the train (you know one of those ex's you could always
see trying it again) and decided to go out on a date
on Saturday. The date went well and i ended up staying
the night.
So this feels silly for my 25 yr old mind to ponder
but how long should one wait for a guy to call her
back? Ive been out of the dating since so long that, I
dont know anymore.
He texted me the next day and I responded back but
I've yet to hear back from him. Should i be worried?

The text he left was about him missing falling asleep with me. And although this is no justification, before I ran into him on the subway, and before he knew I was moving to new york, I had been getting texts from him for the last few months saying he missed me and asking me what was going on in my life.
Am I still justified in my hopes of hearing from him again?

I wouldn't sweat it. you guys are not together anymore. I say wait for him to make a move and then get a feel for what he wants and go from there.
If he plays games though, then end it. Especially if that was the reason you guys broke up in the first place.

There's a huge chance he's feeling the same as you are. Don't get worried, and don't dwell on it- you'll drive yourself crazy!
If it's bothering you that much than just call him and ask if he wants to see you again. If he does, wait for him to call you. If he doesn't- well then its just over.
I think it's a good sign he texted you afterwards... but why didn't he call? He probably feels as uncomfortable as you.

You NEVER give it up on the first date. Even if you have been with that person before and reconnected. He is probably done with you or thinks of you as a booty call. Most likely he will expect you to give it up every time you meet.

no not yet. you went out Saturday, he text you on Sunday, it's only Wednesday. If you are still interested in him, why don't you call him? You have a history together so this isn't really like you just met him. If he acts weird when you call him, then worry.

Why don't you just go back to living your life as you were without him. Most guys automatically assume that he has free access to what he has already had before, unless he finds out that it is otherwise. I doubt he is looking to rekindle a romance with you and likely he just wanted to roll around the sheets with you.
Just take it as that and don't worry about anything because if he really wanted you back in his life then he wouldn't waste anytime to show that to you.

seriously, if he wanted to rekindle the entire relationship, it wouldn't be taking him so long. Seems like the one night thing is gonna suit him just fine. If it's not your cup of tea, steer clear.

if he is really interesting in getting back with you he will ... don't do anything.. let him call you .. then you will know... he could be busy.. this is a busy time of year....I have learn that men can do whatever they want to....
