I think the only difference between the two would be bonuses and other additions. You have your base salary then add any bonuses would be your gross salary, minus taxes and deductions would give you net salary

Take your base salary and add any bonuses or additional pays you receive from your employer.
If there are no bonuses or other pays, your base salary and gross salary are the same.

Gross salary is your salary before any deductions. If you have your net salary, just add the total deductions to your net salary and it will be your gross salary.

Your gross salary and base salary are the same thing, unless you are on salary plus commission, then that is your gross. Your net (take-home) will depend on your tax bracket and deductions.

Gross salary is all the money you make, so it would be base salary plus comission, bonuses, etc. before taxes and other deductions.

Your base salary is the amount paid to you without all the extras. Extras are: Overtime, Shift Differential, No lunch pay, offsite extra pay, car allowances, phone allowances, etc. Mileage, tolls, carfare and paid lunches. Your Gross Salary includes all the pay items that are taxable or considered income. This includes, base pay, overtime, shift pay, no lunch pay, uniform pay, etc. Get it ?? Good Luck. Your pay stub should break it down for you.

married or single
dependents
if single no dependents add 40%
if married no dependants add 26%
to the net salary and you can estimate the gross
this is just an estimate since there could be other factors
