That he didn't equip them to follow. He gives humanity instincts, the capacity for love (and hate), for kindness (and violence), for sexual desire, but not the trait of perfection. But yet he punishes humanity for not being perfect.
Isn't this similar to being a bad parent, but punishing your kids for mistakes they make because you didn't teach them about a certain issue?

If it was possible for them NOT TO SIN, then why did they sin?

mzJakes, what's really stupid is that a "perfect" God needs to create imperfect beings and give them a road to repentence...
Why not just make it all good from the beginning? After all, God is perfect, isn't he?

Monterey, what's pathetic is that folks keep following the beliefs of humans from thousands of years ago, BLINDLY. God turning people into SALT PILLARS? SOme guy inside of a whale? God allows Satan to kill of Job's family, only to test Job's faith, then giving Job a bigger family with more wealth? What about Job's family that got killed off? Why weren't they important?
Yet people believe this stuff and believe in a kind and loving God, without question.
How pathetic.

God doesn't punish humans. God created the universal law of karma (and reincarnation), making each accountable for all action (good and bad). Put forth an ill thought out cause and you must live out the effects. ( and vice versa )
Seems fair to me.

How pathetic.
Do you not have laws to obey in your daily life that you abide by? (you probably don't)
The law was placed due to people that wanted to live their lives in turmoi, or cause turmoil in other peoples lives. We are expected to follow civil law. But then in some cases, some goomers think their only existance upon this earth is to create havoc for the law abiding citizens. If man were perfect, he would not need laws that God has established for us to follow. That is because we all fall short, and are not perfect. He is the Father, and we are His children. He chooses to lay out laws and rules for us to follow to have an abundant life. Oh we've been equipped alright. It's called the Holy Bible. Read it, follow it, and do the best you can to follow the teaching of Christ. You won't be perfect, we are not perfect. The Bible is a letter to us from our Father telling us how to live a successful life.

Go through all the laws in the OT and tell me even 1 that cannot be done. There isn't one....it's all a matter of self control.
Then there's the really stupid part of your thesis. That is, if God expected us to be perfect all the time, why did He provide such a detailed process of remediation of sin and all the laws (oops more things we supposedly can't abide) that pertain to repentence!?
Yours is simply an asinine argument from one who wishes to dispense with any personal responsibilty....something that Christianity has institutionalized.
It's more than pathetic to see the great majority of humanity holding on to all or part of this nonsense.

the tale of Adam and Eve is in maximum cases seen an allegory. God made the international appropriate and we've been given unfastened will. quicker or later in human history we rebelled against God and fell into sin. It wasn’t the act of two human beings yet human beings today sin, we aren’t appropriate. Christ already payed the cost for our crime by way of His dying on the go. As He grow to be resurrected so do we. we can return to that unique backyard and draw close with God.

Humans do not want to be ruled or abide by any laws or rules. God gave them direct orders and man rebelled .Man always goes to the extremes to see how far he can bend the rules till he gets caught , then denies responsibility .

he does equip us to follow his laws....but only through Jesus Christ...and his grace....
the law is there to show us how we cannot achieve holiness on our own...that we have to rely on God for his help....this keeps us humble before him.
