I like the idea of the sugar cookies. It would be more personal and you could just get a candy bar anywhere. And the connection might not be strong enough to associate sugar and candy right away as you would with sugar cookies

Love the cookie idea-- can you get them with the pretty sugar crystals on them? So many people are doing candy bars lately since they can be personalized. Love the idea of a bag of cookies, especially if you personalize them.

I think the sugar cookies are a more original idea, especially with your last name. People do candy bars all the time.

If by "candy bar" you mean a candy buffet then I vote for that... If you mean like a Hershey bar with a personalized wrapper or something, then I'd prefer the sugar cookies.
You're totally right about the candles though. Most favors that aren't edible get left behind. Guests like having a choice, that's why I'm a huge fan of the candy buffet.

Love the sugar cookie idea, maybe you could put 2 in a bag back to back and have your initial on one and his on the other, tie it up like a piece of candy with ribbons in the color of your wedding.
