Personally, I'd be a little amused if that happened. No warrant to hurt anyone.

Why would a kind, loving God cast good people down to hell for not believing he's there? Is his ego really that huge? Besides, after death (if this God character exists), they'd be proven wrong and would most likely be repentant, after all.

And for those who say that it's not God's doing, it's Satan's...well, why would a kind, loving and ALL-POWERFUL God allow his "children" to slip from his grasp?

If someone claimed to disbelieve in my existence, I wouldn't hesitate to save them from a on-coming car.

1. Good people.

By human definition we are basically good.
By God's definition none of us is good for to be good one needs to be perfect and sinless

So goodness is done by God's definition which is the true definition of good.

2. Disbelief is not the only reason. People go there for rejecting Jesus and for their sins. Jesus paid the price for our sins. We can either accept His payment or we can choose to pay for our sins ourselves.

3. If people wait until after death, it will be too late. We have this life many chances to repent. If we refuse those chances, it will be only our own fault at the end.

4. Well, not everyone is God's child. Only those who accept Jesus and turn from sin. God's children will never perish and no one can take us from His hand.

5. Not a good analogy.

6. People can see you so if they denied your existence, then they are nuts.

People cannot see God but yet can see the effects of God (aka Creation)

Even if people did see God, they would still deny His existence.

A moral person would never allow that to happen, but Christians worship and establish one way relationships with this flavor of God everyday.

It is stunning to me, that people are willing to worship something that is willing to burn their children or parents because they require tangible evidence for belief.

The bible is full of warnings against deception, so it seems responsible to rely on the tangible and not faith alone for belief, especially if eternal damnation is at stake, but humans are meant to lean on faith, opening up to being mislead.

It doesn't really work.

Sassy, First question, no I would just consider the source !Father God and Jesus has given mankind free will so nonbelievers will burn in the eternal fire of hell by their own submission. Our God is a good God but many choose not to have faith in Jesus so he must also to stand by his word and cast nonbelievers into the lake of fire with their father the devil !

Because..... he gave his only son to die on this earth so that we may be purified in the eyes of God, and so that we may go to heaven. If you gave your only childs life for someone else, and that person wasn't greatful how would you feel????
Being cast into hell is punishment for sins that you commited while you were on this earth, if you don't ask for God's Forgiveness, then you haven't repented so therefore your punished.....and yes it says in the bible that God is a jealous God.

You seem to trivialize denial of God. Denial of God is just a symptom of a serious offense against God. By sinning against God, we have injured his honor. And that demands satisfaction. Justice is the issue here. Yes, God is love but he is also just.

You may be playing with fire on this one. There are a lot of questions in this category that a lot of people are going to have to answer for by their unbeliefs and their lack of faith.

No,I would just punch them in the face a few times. And explain to them that the blood coming out of their nose is only in their mind, since I don't exist.

Guess what, He doesn't do that. If someone went around telling everyone that if they didn't do what YOU wanted, YOU would personally go around and set them on fire, does that mean that you're going to do that?

It's not God's doing. It's' not Satan's doing. It's man's doing. None of His children slip from His grasp. None of His children go to hell.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
