You can use wall paint on a craft project, but for interior wall painting I would only use paint for that purpose. Otherwise, it'll fade, chip, peel or get moldy, etc.

Maybe if you are making an art piece but I wouldn't suggest it for your walls. For art you can do anything but walls require the proper paint if you want the color to hold up.
