A) Deceased people who died and went into the light and are in Heaven and can't do everything they could do here and are forced an existance of nothing but peacefulness, grass, flowers and nothing else and they worship and serve God nonstop forever and ever whether they like it or not and have less freedom than what they had here because they have God "breathing down their necks" every second.

OR

B) Deceased people who died and refused to go into the light and are here on Earth haunting cemetaries, houses, building, and sometimes forests. They have ALL THE FREEDOM they could ever want. They can do whatever they want, experience whatever pleasures they want and don't have to worry about getting in trouble because they don't have
God "breathing down their necks" every second.

If both scenerios were to hold 100% true, then I'm happy for those "ghosts" and pity the ones in heaven.
I'd choose B) because unlike you, I value FREEDOM.

If you can't do whatever you want in Heaven and have
TOTAL FREEDOM there, then Heaven sounds like it sucks and it sounds like it's not much better than Hell.

I can go along with you on that.

IF Those were the only two choices I would most likely pick B too! But according to the Bible those are not even applicable choices.

The Bible talks about death like sleep. The Dead know nothing. Those ghosts you are talking about are not the spirits of people who have passed but are demons masquerading as the spirits of people who have died. (Why would they do this? to trick people into believing that a person does not die- Satans first lie to humans)

Heaven and destruction will not take place until the resurrection. The choice is actually heaven (the gift) or total destruction.

Now, to address what you have said about heaven. The longer I have been a Christian and the more I have learned about God, the less I WANT to do certain things. As Christians, our desires should begin to change. I believe that our desires will not conflict with what God wants so we will still have free will. The only difference is that our will is going to be in accord with what God wants for us. We will realize that God's rules are not there to keep us from having fun, but to protect us from the harm that sin causes.

Wow, it sounds like your belief in Heaven is pretty concrete, though most of it is not substantiated by descriptions in religious texts. Your description of ghosts does leave out the coldness and in substantiality - again, you have created a very specific belief about ghosts in order to create the supposed "logic" of your conclusion.
Technically, the alternative, if you believe in Heaven, would be Hell for most believers, so the ghost option is not on the same menu.
But hey, this is your fantasy, We would need more facts on your ghost scenario, though, since it does not match other visions presented commercially or religiously.

Your question is really a non-question since both of your hypotheses are incorrect.

People who go to heaven, have already worshiped and served God on earth, and WANT to worship Him forever in heaven. They are not forced to do so. Also, God is not "breathing down their necks". This implies that He's waiting to catch somebody doing something wrong. But people in heaven do not do wrong because there is no sin in heaven, only the goodness and love and mercy and glory of God.

When someone dies who does not want to worship and serve God forever, they assuredly did not want to do so on earth either. And when they turn from the light, they do not return to earth to haunt anything or anyone. When they turn from the light, they turn towards the darkness, and of their own free will enter hell.

To comment on "ɹɐǝɟsuɐs Consiglieri"'s answer to your question, part of which read "The fact that Christians claim that the devil and his angels revolted in heaven, shows that something must be worth bitching about up there. " - although of course we have no way of knowing 100%, it is believed that Satan was once the most glorious angel, hence the name "Lucifer" - light-bearer. However, he was infected with pride because of his grandeur, and when God revealed the plan to create humanity in the image and likeness of God, Lucifer disagreed and incited a rebellion amongst the angels. Lucifer, presuming to know more than God, argued against God creating you and me... argued against the Creator of the Universe.. argued against the God who had made him. Lucifer and the angels (now demons) who followed him willingly defied God. Since they had nowhere else to go, our God of love created a place for them to go. That place is hell. Any hatred or torment or pain or fire or any other terrible thing about hell was not created by God, but by the evil and malice of Lucifer and his cohort of demons.

If anyone freely chooses to spend their eternity suffering in unimaginable torments in hell, then all of us who choose heaven can do nothing but pray that someday before you die you come to an understanding of how VERY GOOD is God, how VERY HOLY, how VERY MERCIFUL, how VERY LOVING.

Without God, we would not be. In fact, nothing would be, because he created everything. God does need us, because He's God, and does not need anything. We need Him, whether we know it or not, whether we accept it or not, whether we deny it or not.

You can deny that God exists. That does not change the fact that He does.

You can reject God. He will never reject you.

You can live your life and never desire to learn anything about God, but He knows all about you, the good and the bad, and loves you just the same. Because He is God, and He is love itself, and because He loves You whether or not you love Him.

Since you truly do not know what Heaven or Hell is like your scenarios are pointless.
Now if I have to stay here on earth as a ghost haunting I hope I get to haunt you!!!!
You may never be able to sleep again because you don't know what the crazy whacked out ghost will do next!

Merry Christmas!!!

Well, in either case its not a continuation of what I want so whatever happens I intend to be utilitarian about it. Do I want to be a ghost where the only advantage is shower time in the women's locker room, or absolute peace. I don't know, in my view neither is likely to happen, the only thing thats going to be spooky is how correct my convictions were all along that death is nothing more than a big empty black void of unconsciousness.

I would choose A because you are so wrong about Heaven. You have TOTAL FREEDOM in Heaven. A ghost is trapped to this earth and can only haunt the place they died or where something tramatic happed to them.

I like your question. That show us how little we know about after life.
I believe that there is freedom, too. And the spirits can evolute in those planes, too, maybe better. they don't rest forever, they worship God by "working" in a spiritual way of course.
Nothing rest in this universe, everything is going on, God himself is working, than why shouldn't work his sons?

Well, since your view of Heaven is inaccurate, how do we answer this question? Heaven is all about freedom and doing the things you love. Have you been there or is there some other way you came to your conclusion?

I choose A.) You are wrong we will all be happy and healthy we will sing and be living in a wonderful place and we will all get along there will be no forcing. No hate, God will not be breathing down our necks.
B.) Would not be a choice at all.

The fact that Christians claim that the devil and his angels revolted in heaven, shows that something must be worth bitching about up there.

Personally, I would want to find out what it is before signing up for eternity there.

What if the sanitation system was backed up, and you get there only to find out your new mansion has plumbing that continually backs up and leaks sewage, FOREVER.
