You will probably have to pay a fine for late payment. The amount is often on the ticket. The court clerk can give you exact information as it pertains to your case. What exactly will happen depends on where you live.

Well if the Sheriff doesn't come to your door with your arrest warrant before the court date, feel lucky. At the court date (In Illinois) your $75.00 ticket for whatever jumps to $300.00. And you won't be able to get court supervision, it will be a conviction on your driving record.
