What happened in your life?

1. I once didn't believe in the Bible, thought it was evil.

I don't hate the bible but I do not believe it is a book written by supernatural beings or even inspired by supernatural beings. It has contradictions in it. Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 give two different orders of creation and the contradiction each other. You'd think that a god would be able to write a book. Also, there are errors in science in it such as calling mustard a tree when it is an herb. Also, it has been used for centuries to cause much suffering. "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" has resulted in many people dying alone no matter what the original meaning of that line is supposed to be. If a god is all powerful then a god should be able to make sure that his book is not mistranslated.

You seem to be a control freak, even to instructing people as to how they may answer your question, including examples in how you wish to be answered!
So..hating or not of the bible is not your issue.. your issue is getting people to obey you here in yahoo answers! VERY weird, guy!
I will never obey you so you can give that up really quick, and no one else here needs to obey you either!
FOURTH sentence ! ( and now the fifth depending on how ya look at it... ) God made pain so we would all learn from how what we do to one another affects us all in a very complete way so we could learn how to treat each other and how to NOT treat each other as well. ( isaiah 45:7 )

I don't hate Bible: I just don't believe in the Bible wholly, everything that is in the book.
The Bible is based on Astro-theology and other pagan worships: that's why I don't believe in the Bible.

People use it to try to control everyone else.
The Bible's God has condone actions such as sexism and slavery.

I see the buy-bull used to spread hate, bigotry, and ignorance everyday. God is not that evil murdering biblical monster.

It's offensive to me as a woman and as a human being. No explanations necessary, assuming you've read it. I wouldn't say that I "hate" it, but I certainly dislike it with a passion.
