I just got back from my psych, and while things are going pretty well, I had a 'blip' (what I like to call them), and am also having some issues sleeping. So, now, my meds are:
Depakote 1000 mg/day
Lexapro 10 mg/day
Topamax (can't remember...just dropped it off at CVS)
and Zyprexa (for sleep, 5mg I think, but only as needed).
These last two are the newbies, and although not too concerned about the Zyprexa, I was wondering if anyone else has ever taken Topamax and Depakote together? Of course, I can't help myself, and needed to jump on and look up both meds, how they work, what they do, how the interact, and have now proceeded to freak myself out. lol.
Any feedback would be great!

And, I should have said that the Topamax was for my eating disorder..., which was the blip (HA - and I was doing so good! Kinda...okay, not really...O)

Marty - funny thing...that's what my psych told me! The dopa-max thing. He's so friggin awesome that way and wants me to be aware of everything. But, we thought that perhaps, even if just for a time, it may be the best thing...the eating disorder, on top of the bi-polar, is getting out of control. Thanks so much for the head's up! If I get too dopey (or dopier!), we decided we'd stop...
I'm worried a bit about taking both Depakote and Topamax at the same time as on epocrates.com it says, basically, 'proceed with caution' due to possible effects on the brain and - um, liver I want to say, but can't remember now. Anyone?
