Unless you are actually deficient in human growth hormone (HGH) and you are still in the growing stage injections of HGH are of no effect.

HGH is a very dangerous substance and the side effects can be quite horrendous. It should never be taken without a doctor's prescription. You are better off without it.

only if your dr prescribes them a friend of mine has a daughter with a disease that has stunted her growth and has been on daily shots for over two years now and has grown all of two inches. so a specialist and tests are needed to be done to see if the 14 year old is really short for her age, or if its just hereditary issues, but all illnesses need to be looked into and only a dr can do that.

NO!
Five feet tall is not so horribly short....and at 14, she's still got some growing to do...
Why on earth would ANY parent want to give growth hormones to their child...especially one that is STILL got growing to do????
Leave "mother nature" alone....
Let your daughter's growth happen naturally...

Growth hormones are prescribed by a doctor for specific conditions and are not just randomly given out!

I've been 5'3 since the age of 12.
Why give her hormones to make her grow.
Maybe being only 5ft is all the taller she will be.

For god's sake, quit trying to teach people that they're not okay the way they naturally are. Just let her grow like a normal person and be happy with herself.

You'd only be given growth hormones if your doctor deems that you need it (ie: you have a pituitary problem.)

What's wrong with being 5'?

You can discuss it with your doctor, but seems very unnecessary.
