Lower the temperature, and ensure you have placed it directly in the middle of the oven so the heat is even, and can circulate during "baking..." All the best!

no longer precisely: a million a million/4 C flour 2 a million/4 tsp baking powder a million/2 tsp salt a million/3 C shortening 2/3 C sugar a million/4 tsp lemon rind 2 crushed eggs a million 3/4 c mashed ripe bananas mixture the sugar and butter and upload something. Bake at 350 for approx. 40 5 minutes in case you haven't any longer have been given each and all of the ingrediants to make it precise, why no longer flatten your bread slices with a rolling pin, throw a banana slice in the middle w/some brown sugar and cinnomon and roll it up. Brush some melted butter over it. Bake and Voila good success!

Reduce the oven temperature. If it's set at 400, reduce to 350, if it's set at 350, reduce to 325.

I agree with lowering the temperature.
What kind of bakeware are you using, glass will bake better at a different temperature than metal pans. I like stoneware the best for baking, it always turns out in my opinion.

When you are baking you need to pre-heat the oven so that you start at the right temperature. DO that and you will be fine.
