May I please have a star? Thank you.

I wondered if I was actually going to get some if I just asked, so I had to try.
Thanks for all your opinions!
Happy Holidays!

Thanks everyone..

And for Joseph,
Stars given or received do not provide any points. A thumbs down rating does not deduct or add points either. A thumbs up point will give one point for each one received, only if the person's answer is deemed "Best Answer" (there is a limit to that depending on level). Please see http://answers.yahoo.com/info/scoring_sy... for details regarding the scoring system.

Again Thank!!!

I have given stars to people who asked politely, if I thought their question was interesting, to please provide them with a star. But those were people who did have a legitimate question to ask. Sorry, but I'm going to have to politely decline this one. I don't see a lot of interest in simply seeing how many stars one can collect with a request.

Stars matter but asking directly is meaningless, you have to word it so they are given freely without appearing quite so needy. Thumbs up/down mean nothing to me

I love your manners but even good manners won't buy you what you want, you have to earn it. Happy Holidays!
