I don't know where your from...but when I pull someone over and let them go for just a warning, we're not obligated to give you a warning ticket, but a business card would have been nice. anywho, when I stop someone for something but release them without a citation, the only thing the "system" will show is a recent contact by law enforcement and the agency that contacted you.....so....your record is still clean. If you happen to get pulled over again for the same thing, it's probably a good idea to go through another driver's ed course....but you don't necessarily have to tell the officer you were pulled over a couple of days ago for the same offense.

It's amazing how offended some get when spoken to by an officer whose stopped them. If the officer asks you about your driving record, he is most likely going to give you a warning with the knowledge that most people can learn from a warning without always resorting to issuing a summons.
You got a verbal warning which is just that and nothing more! If you get pulled over again...you still have no record, however, I'd suggest you drive safely and in accordance with the rules of the road and you won't get pulled over!

Just tell the truth. "I have never received a ticket." I have never heard of a warning appearing on a driving record but, if the cop asks you point blank have you ever received a warning you should say yes. I know you may be opening yourself up to getting a ticket but, I have never heard of anything good happening to a person who lies to a cop and then that lie is discovered. Besides, even if the officer gives you a ticket, he may give you a break for being honest by not showing up in court.

If you get pulled over again politely state that you have never received a ticket and you may add that you have been pulled over once prior for failure to stop at a stop sign. The department that gave you a "warning" might have entered it into thier database as a warning, so they know if you get pulled over again that you did.
You got a warning. no biggie, we all give em, we all get em

In my city, when you are issued a "verbal" warning the cop makes a note in your computer file that they gave you one. So no matter who pulls you over next time, you will get a ticket.

Tell the truth. A lot of officers have access to a computer in their vehicles and can look at your driving record. If you say you never got a ticket and they look and see that you have you will probably not get a break this time.

If a written warning was not issued you still have a clean driving record.

Unless the same cop pulls you over and remembers you, you are still "clean" as far as your driving record.

There is no record of that warning. Trust me just ignore it. I speed all the time, so I get pulled over a lot. I am also a cute girl, so I get a lot of warnings. There's no record.

If I were you, I'd not converse with a cop who may or may not be looking to bust you. He is not there for small talk, so don't engage in it. He is there to look for evidence.
Next time he asks about your record, give the silent universal "I dunno" sign - palms up and out at your sides, head cocked with a quizzical look on your face. be polite but non-committal and non-verbal.
He can, and will, check your your record in his car anyway. If there is a discrepancy you will be in trouble. If you gave him nothing, there will be no discrepancy.
