she can come into season from 6months for sure, but usually 8-10months! keep her safe, she will wander and dogs will come, it is really bad for your girl if she gets cought while shes still a puppy, sory you probobly know that anyway!!
it would be great if you could spay her before her first season, she will be a lot less likely to develope mamory tumors in later life.

Female dogs can come into heat anytime between the age of 5 months and 18 months. The signs are increased interest from male dogs, enlarged vulva, discharge from vulva, general change in character and sookiness. Do not risk these dogs producing a litter of inbred, unwanted puppies, get them desexed asap, at the very least get the female desexed and the male as soon as you can afford it. It is irresponsible to not get these dogs desexed. It is also irresponsible to keep a dog tied to a porch and to smack them. It is also irresponsible to be teaching your daughter that pets are not deserving of responsible care. If you can't afford to care for your dogs responsibly then you should not have them.

None - most 6 month old females are already in heat, just a matter of time for yours.
Get her spayed - fast, before she gets pregnant.
At her young age, that could kill her.

She could be going into heat any day now.
Make an appointment to get her spayed. Not only might she be inclined to run off, but male dogs will break IN to your yard.
Spaying before she goes into heat will significantly decrease her chances of getting mammory tumors

Usually it is 6 months, some go in at 8-- Be sure to neuter them before the 6 month mark though

Maybe you should concentrate on learning to read and write English instead of the dogs ! adult ed might be a great thing for you as you obviously didn't pay any attention in school did you

It depends on what breed of dog you have. Our coon dogs and dalmation always went into heat around their first birthday. Call a vet in the phone book or animal shelter and ask them. They are usually more than happy to answer.

it all depends on the breed of dog and what size is our little dog was about 6 months before she came into heat but if you don't her to have puppies i would suggest spaying her if you don't she could have problems when she gets older. My cousins dog wasn't spayed and she got really sick and almost died.So they got her spay and every thing is going great now.

Razzle has the right time range. It is recommended to get your pet spayed by 6 months of age, unless you plan on breeding her.
