It is a glove made of cloth, worn on the opposite hand as the scissors (for cutting yarn).

I would translate it move it wouldn't make sense..

This is hard to translate. It's not a glove to cut
cloth but to protect one from injury when cutting cloth.
So a way of putting it might be
Guante para protegerse cuando se corta la tela.
Maybe someone can come up with a better version.
